Kindle eReader

Amazons Kindle is riddled with caveats and exclusive DRM, forcing product loyalty not because of quality, but because of necessitywho wants to throw away dozens (or hundreds) of ebooks? Certainly not us! The same is true of iTunes. Good news, though, is that the Irex eReader will be better than the Kindle in almost every imaginable way. In the first place its not going to force you to use only one kind of ebook, but will support a range of DRM schemes and standard document formats such as Adobe PDFs. This is a very good thing. This means you can buy ebooks from multiple sources without being penalized for finding a good deal. To be honest? Amazon should have thought of this before continuing their oppressive movements to force the Kindle on their customers while disbanding other more promising projects.

In our opinion, the freer a platform is, the better it is for the user. Its cheaper for the buyer, and ultimately better for the supplier. More people are able to purchase an equitable product with open code and support for multiple platforms. At least Irex probably wont delete files you purchased, like Amazon!
